In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of strategic planning and operational guidance for our Urgent Care division.Enhancing patient experiences across our practices, the Medical Director will embody outstanding leadership qualities and clinical mastery, ensuring the successful execution of our care model. This role requires a profound grasp of the business framework, enabling valuable contributions to administrative policy shaping and decision-making. Collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team encompassing nurses, social workers, physicians, pharmacists, health economists, and program coordinators, you'll play a crucial role in advancing Rochester Regional Health's mission to deliver exceptional acute care services to the communities of Western New York and the Finger Lakes region.Directly accountable to the Executive Medical Director of Primary Care, the Medical Director will hold a pivotal administrative role, steering operational and financial performance, spearheading recruitment initiatives, shaping strategic blueprints, fostering retention strategies, and providing meticulous oversight.Our ideal candidate will boast at least five years of illustrious leadership experience, marked by a track record of excellence in patient care, teaching, and professional development. COMPENSATION: We offer a highly competitive compensation package. In addition, the base pay range noted below may also include productivity and/or value based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

QUALIFICATIONS: Rochester Regional Health seeks an accomplished clinician with an M.D. from an accredited medical school, current board certification in FM, Med-Peds, ED, eligible for licensure in New York State. Candidates must have experience in developing and leading clinical programs, a record of effective administrative experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated commitment to promoting a collaborative integrated environment.

EDUCATION:

• MD (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.

  • Physician - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PAY RANGE: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00
    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
